Default Artisan Percussion still around?
I am in the market for a nice high-end bronze/bell brass/bell bronze/whatever snare drum.
I do not know much about the company Artisan percussion. I have heard good things about their snares, primarily from this forum.
Anyway, I was wondering if they still exist and make snare drums.
Their prices on the website are:
_______________________________________
Signature Cast
Brass & Bell Bronze - 13" or 14" - $1,050.00
Copper - 13" or 14" - $1,300.00
Finish Options: Standard Mill finish coated. All Signature drums are equipped with Die Cast hoops, Brass tube lugs, and premium throw off. Nickel, R-Class, Trick, Ego, etc. Other custom options available. Please contact.
Titanium
$700.00 Standard gage

Anyone know or heard these drums?
ps - I didn't break any rules by posting the prices did I? That always worries me.

Greg makes some great drums. His wood finishes are deeper than a swimming pool. His metal shells sound great also...

Email them and ask.
They don't deal directly, so you'd need to find a dealer as well.

Got a response to the email.
Greg told me that the site hasn't been updated in awhile, but they are still alive and kickin'.
Also, you can order straight from him, no dealer necessary!
I am gonna start saving now.
Bell bronze would rock.
