I think maybe he means wiccans, pagan is anyone who isn't christian, but that doesn't make sense either most wiccans are edgy suburban teens or yuppie housewives

in varg's world view although the greeks and egyptians are polytheistic, they aren't pagan because they have constructed civilization. varg is anti civilization and pro barbarism because of his self defined understanding of nature. Its important to note pagan is a malleable term originally something closer to a slur meaning villager [Paganism (from classical Latin pāgānus "rural, rustic", later "civilian"]).

Tell varg that every term is malleable if you go back 3 different languages to 75 B.C. right now, in 2019 in the united states dialect of english, it means anyone who doesn't follow a mainstream religion. the inbventors of civilization as we know it, and also the people who invented that malleable word you like so much, were pagans.

i'm not arguing semantics, just explaining Kristian (lol) Vickernes's stance

the people who invented that malleable word were pagans.
incorrect (Paganism is a term first used in the fourth century by early Christians)

that malleable word you like so much
