it is really hard to find naturally brewed, and good soy sauce outside of japan. even in korea 90% of it is crap. most people buy a cheapo bottle of soy sauce, when in fact it is not even actual soy sauce, but crushed soy beans dissolved in acid then made neutral with equally harsh alkalines, then artificial flavouring and colours are added, and in "mid range" soy sauce they do this but add like 25% real brewed soy sauce. i buy 10 dollar bottles of soy sauce because i use it every day, and it ends up costing like 50 cents per full dish' usage, so really it doesnt matter. just like eggs, if you bought top quality eggs, broken down per egg its stll only like 40 cents vs 10 cents for dogshit eggs.
