i don't really understand this beyond some sort of on the spot platitude but can you explain this. if 50% of the nation is consuming 10% of the media (because of partisanship) this would imply the 10% are making half of all the money in the news media industry. why wouldn't more media outlets feature positive coverage of trump in order to compete for republican viewership ($$$)

well thats my point, trump support is not a result of media manipulation- unless you extend media to include social media- which isn't corporate, thus trump support must be organic support cultivated by private individuals and not a result of "fox news" coverage
