There is no true caring about people part of socialism and that same think of the children line of thought enables the existence of such horrible trade deals and the massive trade deficit.

Tarrifs and farm subsidies are the offensive and defensive tactics of the trade war, everything trump does is pro america. Funny how you said nothing and ignored everything I said.

centrally controlling the economy is bernie sanders level socialist. Forcing every American to pay more for consumer goods is not "pro america". We're paying the price for his dick measuring contest with winnie the pooh.

A prolonged trade deficit hurts the stock market, amount of investment in US infrastructure, and overall employment. Allowing poverty to fester under these conditions promotes unhealthy lifestyles like mass consumption of cheap unhealthy goods (made in china) and drug use like opioids (fentanyl made in china). It siphons wealth outside the US to nations that manipulate there currency (like they do in china). This is a example of not 'pro america' policy and is nowhere near what Sanders proposes to do with healthcare education reparations and whatever else he's tried to promise.
