Went up to Mt Greylock and it was tight. Super foggy, though. But all the surrounding communities were cool and I felt like North Adams is basically the seminal New England town. When people think of a New England town that's what it looks like.

    sorry, shitty thread.

Yeah I don't think we'll get it too bad here, but I'm ready just in case.
I'm going to stock up on a little extra food tomorrow but I've got everything else in case of a power outage.

    Very good.
I don't have a wood stove or chimney, but I have a well insulated basement and lots of layers and blankets.
I miss my old house with a wood stove.

    lol.

more like a sign of not being able to find 100 bucks for grocerys so some genius decides to set up a fucking hobo oil drum fire in the living room.

keep living paycheck to paycheck and forcing your family to huddle around a pile of burning tires for heat..... I hear it builds character.

You're clearly mentally challenged but since I am nice and also patient I will try to explain this to you.

Wood stoves cost LESS to operate than other heating options, therefore someone using one would have MORE money for groceries and be LESS likely to live paycheck to paycheck.

That's simple math though, so I understand that you might not get it.

    lol.

wood age technology for the poor.

I am starting to like this.

you know what, you "humans" have convinced me.

I think you deserve to be reliant on caveman technology..... I personally prefer electricity, or natural gas and am willing to pay the extra 12 bucks a year in order to avoid the 47 hours of manual labor prepping wood to be burned..... but thats just me.
