yes it probably is, you can do all sorts of shit scripting with json now. go look it up

server won't update an old map. you have to do it locally in single player and then put it back on the server.
I did thus. it worked and I played it locally in single player but it still shows up as old on the server

the only thing i'm interested in from the old map is the shitting statue and i guess that's easy to rebuild, idk
