I'll bet thee hast never even heard of phrenology, well thou art about to hear about it, in great detail, whether thee carest to or not (and we know thou don't). I mean yeah I art simply a lowly street begger but I knowest basically everything and have convinced myself that I art much better than thee somehow

"oh I'm way too smart to work for a living, everyone should take care of me and feel blessed for the privilege because I'm such a brilliant mind, I can honestly and unironically compare myself to isaac newton"
fuck you

if you want to use ssh, ask them. i don't think i had to ask, but you did say you were originally on a basic account or something
i had to use ssh to import various mysql databases ive used because they'd time out from phpmyadmin.

this whole experience has convinced me to stick with debian, because apparently redhat blows knobs in production

I have used comodoSSL cert and openSSL which are tedious than letsencrypt which it does fast setup.

it's expensive as fuck though

also they never broke my apache config like letsencrypt did to yours

it's pretty easy with godaddy and network solutions
-

Godaddy comes predefined scripts for users without experience in server
-

all things considered I paid $12 a year for my domain and a pretty decent cpanel hosting package, they're not that bad

i pay something like 120 per year for my hosting which comes with one domain. all of my other domains are through something else which used to be 5 bucks per year per domain and included domain lock, and privacy, but now they've gone up and have gone to godaddy's model of charging for every feature, so i have to find something else.

I didn't even have mysql until a couple of weeks ago I bought the domain to host static images to post on the forum, it was $12 and it did the job perfectly, and then they upgraded me to a bunch of features I never even asked for. Not saying it's perfect, but it was p good for my purposes.
