i got lucky at 16 w/ a car with 30k miles, but yeah same here. debating whether to continue buying used or a buy a new one (when my honda eventually gets used up) and drive it for like 8 years

yeah you can buy (actually a lot of cars sold at auto auction) are prior fleet vehicles/rentals so they were basically driven by middle aged businessmen to and from a hotel somewhere. the problem is not a lot of hondas are rentals, which kind of sucks because i like reliable cars.
