it's injured like it's scraped off half of its nose and at first I took it outside to the bushes and then I went outside to give it some water and it came right up to me squeaking again... so I'm thinking it isn't a wild rat but was a pet rat at some point... so I felt too sorry for it so I've put it in my cat box with a towel and some water and bread and put it in my bathroom... I think it's in shock... I feel really sorry for it and hope it doesn't die
here is a pic of it

what should I do? I'll give it some quiet time and have covered the cat box with a towel to keep it dark and check on it in maybe 2 hours
and I'll just keep food and water in the box for itand look after it until it is better?
that is if it doesn't die
I feel so sorry for the poor thing

02-12-2013get a tube, some cheese ,
put the cheese in the tube,
shove the tube up your asshile
put the rat in one end of the tube
the rat should go after the cheese, once the rat is eating the cheese in your asshole
TAKE THE TUBE OUT QUICK
clench your butt cheeks so the rat can not get out and has only one place to go

no my house is clean and I've never had rats before
I have a pest contro, an electric pest control device... I've turned that off so it doesn't disturb the rat
and I've made a sign that I put up out on an electric pole out the front
it says:
"TAME RAT FOUND
is injured
Ph: [my phone number]"

things did not end well for juji the rat
I decided to take it to the vet
the vet said that it probably wasn't tame and just was sick
and that sometimes when wild rats are sick they can be handled, it wasn't a native rat or natural wildlife for the island nor was it a pet rat... just a sick wild rat
so the vet took the rat for me and will put it downLast edited by Lisa Claus; 02-12-2013 at 10:29 PM.

yeah I feel a bit bad
but I was thinking about it so I called the vet and just said, "This might seem really strange but I found a rat that seems tame but is bleeding and I don't know what to do with it."
They said they would have a look at it so i brought it in
at least though it won't suffer anymore and I couldn't bring myself to kill the poor thing or just chuck it outside to die
and then I was looking stuff up and found this which is interesting
it was crawling straight for my cat which was next to me... my cat wasn't even the slightest bit interested
http://www.cosmosmagazine.com/news/p...at-attraction/
I think most people would have just killed it
put my pest contro back on... don't want anymore sick rats on suicide missions crawling in
R.I.P juji the rat
