Growing up with a single mom we didn't have a ton of money so a lot of my clothes came from kmart and fell apart after a week or two. Now that I'm on my own and financially successful and I can afford to shop at walmart instead.

Walmart will probably last a century or more. Too many people just want to but where they see the absolute cheapest price tag and Walmart is it for many things.

I once read that the difference between a French woman and an American woman is if both lost all their clothes in a house fire and were given a $500 voucher to buy new clothes, an American woman would go to Walmart and buy many inexpensive clothing items that she can mix and match whereas a French woman would buy one outfit at a trendy Downtown Paris boutique and wear it all the time until she can afford more clothes later at that price or more.
