hc is a pro-drug... it has to be oxidized into hm by CYP450 3A4 to have any psychoactive effect
which means if you want it to work, you can't potentiate it by taking CYP450 inhibitors
oc is psychoactive before oxidation. it oxidizes to om, which has a short peak plasma half-life. an oc high generally doesn't last longer than 5-6hr without coadminning a CYP450 inhibitor
