it's more than pride, it's narcissism and purism. it's a personality disorder but it's a cornerstone of what little ego i still have

we are supposed to hang out with other addicts, but only addicts who are not actively using & are trying to stay clean. it's a key part of the program. if this girl and i use each other, it could possibly drive me back to using, and i'm about 90% sure it will send her back out
