    i thought the way it worked was if you own a tv in the UK you have to buy a license or something and it costs like 150 pounds a year??? which is more than the cost of an entire year's subscription to HBO and it has a lot more "subscribers" since it's basically mandatory, so if HBO can prouce Game of Thrones (albeit with only 10 episdoes per year) wtf gives with BBC?

    there's like 12 BBC's and they all produce their own content, the majority of hbo's programming is feature films
