I stuck with a gigantic 22" CRT for my gaming machine as long as I could, but I wanted something widescreen so I finally traded it for an LCD. It looks good, but colors and especially shadows don't look nearly as good as they did and I hate being stuck at one resolution for the rest of my life I appreciate as much real estate on the desktop as possible
