I've been known to kick back on my porch and kill a 40 of colt 45 but I don't pour any on the sidewalk for my homies who couldn't be there because my friends are white and not in gangs so they're all still alive

the douchebag law-makers are convinced that there is a certain number of drinks a person can have where they will magically transform from "safe to drive" into "drunken hazard to everyone around them"

connecticut just repealed the law that liquor stores can't be open on the sabbath

nice. In minnesota, liquor stores and bars can't be open on sunday either, and they have to close at 10 every night. This just leads to all the drunk people in minnesota driving to wisconsin to buy beer on sundays and before midnight every other night
-

a case of beer is also 3-4 dollars cheaper in wisconsin than in minnesota, all the more reason to drive there.
So what makes more sense, just letting liquor stores be open every day of the week until midnight, or indirectly cause a dangerous traffic rush of drunks trying to get to wisconsin before the liquor store closes every night

best part is the governor's rationale was not 'It's wrong to force religious values on our citizens' it was 'We're losing too much money from people driving to new york to buy beer'.

it thins your blood so you can get better circulation to all of the muscles you just tore and they heal alot faster so you dont have to skip a day inbetween pumping iron

not to mention the amount of alcohol in everclear is chemically signifcant, such that it can be reactive with various medicines and bodily tissues on contact -- it can, in vivo, turn methylphenidate into the much more potent "ethylphenidate", within the stomach and intestines. It can also increase the oral bioavailability of things like oxymorphone tenfold - literally turning your standard dose into a lethal dose.
Just imagine the physiological changes it induces on your body even in the absence of other drugs.
Everclear is something I personally as a drug user, don't like to mess around with.

this is true, although it thinning your blood is not what's important - its the fact alcohol dilates blood vessels which is very good for muscles after working out; it gets blood flowing into all your cramped and torn muscles so the healing can begin a lot sooner.
A hot shower is good for the same reason

you mean 160 proof mock-absinthe
i'm pretty sure there's no wormwood or thujone in it like traditional absinthe.
Even though the bottle says something like "at long last, absinthe is reintroduced into the united states" or w/e, if I remember correctly its just cleverly worded marketing, and not real absinthe

here we go found some info on wikipedia if you care to read it:
In 2007, the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) effectively lifted the longstanding absinthe ban, and has since approved many brands for sale in the U.S. market. This was made possible partly through the TTB's clarification of the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) thujone content regulations, which specify that finished food and beverages that contain Artemisia species must be thujone free.[100] In this context, the TTB considers a product to be thujone-free if the thujone content is less than 10 ppm (equal to 10 mg/kg).[101][102] This is verified through the use of Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry.[103]
The importation, distribution, and sale of absinthe is permitted with respect to the following restrictions:
The product must be thujone-free as per TTB guidelines,
The word "absinthe" can neither be the brand name nor stand alone on the label, and
The packaging cannot "project images of hallucinogenic, psychotropic or mind-altering effects."
Absinthe imported in violation of these regulations is subject to seizure at the discretion of U.S. Customs.[104][105]
Beginning in 2001, a product called Absente was sold legally in the United States under the marketing tagline "Absinthe Refined", but as the product contained sugar, and was made with southernwood (Artemisia abrotanum) and not grande wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) (prior to 2009), the TTB classified it as a liqueur.
