The american lifestyle of sitting on a couch watching TV 8 hours a day and eating 4000 calorie meals 5 times a day wasn't brought to them by laborers who were "just whining", they worked their asses off to try and build their way up to the status of the people they were laboring for, only for those people to do a "bait and switch" whenever they got close to digging their way out of the hole they were in.

Kind of like trying to climb up a steep hill on all fours and each time you get to the top some guy just pushes you so you roll back down the hill

Doing shitty work for the shitty pay that they offer isn't what's sick; what's sick is getting looked down upon by other people while doing it
