it's not a gimmick, he's basically shoving "fine I didn't want you to like me anyway" down our throats because he knows that nobody's going to like him regardless of what he does and he can't handle rejection. Hundreds of times stevey tried to get me to hang out with him irl and post on his forum and hundreds of times I said no and now lo and behold he points out how much he hates me in every single post, he realized we weren't ever going to be best buds like he wanted so now he's pretending that it was his choice all along because if he admitted to himself what was really going on his feelings would be hurt and he can't handle that, not again. I'm not surprised that a kid who grew up fat and weird uses these sorts of defensive mechanisms, but that doesn't make it normal. He needs to see a shrink, this isn't healthy.
