    Hardly anyone had the internet then... the only reason my great aunty and uncle had it is because they were mega rich from owning most of BHP in australia

    so I was spoilt by being able to go on the internet the couple of times my grandmother sent me to visit them (my great Aunty was worried that I wasn't turning into a "lady" and that I needed to move away from dad and come and live with her and she would turn me into a "lady".... I foolishly declined)

    It matters because it's just bullshit. The biggest shareholder in BHP has been the Westpac/National banking groups for decades, and the biggest individual shareholders (accounting for less than 3% of shareholdings) were the packer family and related trusts. So yeah, not really.
