you've probably blocked it out then
if i remember i was pointing out that:
    - no video to monitor
    - fans on case still work
    - optical mouse on, but unresponsive to movement
    - keyboard capslock/numlock/scroll-lock unresponsive, none of the lights on keyboard turn on
Solution: get a better power supply

I wouldn't have praised you for that, there's a hundred different things that can cause those symptoms and most of them are more likely than a bad/underpowered power supply

    -bad ram
    -bad motherboard
    -loose connection (psu, dvi/usb)
-wrong CPU settings in cmos (usually some dipshit trying to overclock)
-bad cmos flash (essentially bad motherboard good luck fixing it)

bad RAM and your motherboard's BIOS is going to give error beeps
a bad motherboard is stretching it
wrong CPU settings its still going to post bios
9 out of 10 times its youre power supply; your motherboard usually doesn't just break in such a way to fit all the aforementioned criteria without some other telltale signs

In theory yes, in practice it's about 50/50 if you even have an internal speaker

Bullshit, motherboards fail all the time especially if you buy cheap hardware with shitty capacitors

-wake from sleep/suspend issues combined with a shitty video card or monitor that doesn't initialize until graphical mode starts

yeah or the motherboard fairy cut all the video card's buses and the USB bus going to the keyboard, but left everything else intact
