i feel like if we made more crimes capital crimes that would deter a lot of criminals. unfortunately most states are pussies and don't even use the death penalty now. smh.

i think for someone to kill a murderer, they can't say with certainty they're not just as bad the murderer in some way.
Maniacs who go on shooting rampages, I agree, they need to be put down. But what about someone who was defending themselves, and it ends up in a gray area but he still gets the death penalty by default, due to what you were saying: capital punishment being a much more available option
