I think I found a better setup............ it's not amd but god damn I just wanna be completely positive I'm getting something I can assemble, install windows 8, without anything before in-between or after

sticking with the same tower psu and gpu

I looked into it and I think the new sockets might actually really not be worth the extra million dollars, second life relies 100% on gpu and hard drive and this way I can get The Ultimate

mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128558

cpu: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819116501 (this is the K model so in ten years when I can only run arma 5 on medium I can OC without any troubles though by then I'll be making my own technology)

hdd 2x: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820147194 (this will actually be perfectly sufficient for second life unless those are crappy drives but I"m pretty sure they're not)

is it worth getting a non-stock heatsink and fan for the cpu? is it worth getting one of those power strips with the battery in it in case of a power outage? I'm using a regular six outlet strip from the year ten million B.C. I'm not sure how much that will matter with a monster rig like this

I'm pretty sure this might be the holy grail of computers....... I feel the most safe with this setup......
