are you fucking retarded? Its active metabolite N-acetyl-p-benzoquinoneimine is EXTREMELY TOXIC TO THE LIVER, it depletes the antioxidant glutathione which ends up causing direct damage to the cells in the liver.

Even though your liver metabolizes N-acetyl-p-benzoquinoneimine, an amount of damage has already been done before it can be metabolized.

ANY dose of acetaminophen will cause SOME DEGREE of liver damage.

In doses of 4-6 grams, slight liver damage will occur, but can be recovered from. In doses of more than 10 grams, damage can be severe. And 20-30 grams can be lethal.
