If any thing, it is worse because a two year degree can cost $10K compared to $2.5K in California. Portland costs a bit despite a lock of a corporate presence because of mild climate and a trendy mecca for boomer feminists, Gen-Xer outdoor lifestyle trendies, and Millennial hipsters.
