The dictionary is factually incorrect considering that it assumes all hetero sexual marriages are between adults. Adolescents particularly but not limited to 16 and up can indeed be married in most US states with parental permission.

The International Space Agency names the Mountain next to America's most recent Mars landing Aeolis Mons whereas NASA named it Mount Sharp on the basis that those who actually explored and used the mountain first get to name or rename it.
The point is: There is no longer an authoritative source for word definition any more thanks to politics. The most authoritative source for words is the industry leader using the word.
