plugging that many hard drives into a computer will definitely cause a power problem no wonder that shit was bluescreening all the time
invest in a ups that has a wattage readout it's about $100 to $200 to protect your $6500 computer
i only buy APC although maybe other brands are alright, and you want somewhere over 500W of output, so here are some example models
