ruby, why bother with the old alienware one if it keeps bluescreening. why not just hook up both monitors to the new one?

because computing is all about juggling problems and its much easier with two separate comps, as you will see with what I ask below

plugging that many hard drives into a computer will definitely cause a power problem no wonder that shit was bluescreening all the time

invest in a ups that has a wattage readout it's about $100 to $200 to protect your $6500 computer

i only buy APC although maybe other brands are alright, and you want somewhere over 500W of output, so here are some example models

get plug in usb or sata external drives make sure they are not bus powered, also buy a 3tb drive and move all your shit on to that

they are all already 2TB each

i guess you could yeah but a UPS also keeps all your shit alive and safe in the case of a power surge, and it gives you time to shutdown gracefully in the event of a sudden power cut

i dunno if you can get one that's rated high enough wattage for both computers, you'd probably need one each, both around maybe 700-800W, i can't really tell because i never have more than two drives in a computer and i don't buy extreme progamer video cards or CPUs
