I looked at all the phones, including Android and I just like the little phone. I don't use it to do anything other than make calls and use a couple apps for things like transferring money when needed. I can't imagine using it for any kind of productivity or business. Got a Macbook Pro that is great for take along if the need arises for me to have my computer with me and the iMac is just freakin' awesome for my desktop. Everything integrates nicely and I'm happy for it.

When I'm out of the house, not working on something on the desktop, I like to be just that - away from the computer. I dont' even give out my cell number.

Unlike the "other side" who like to rag on Apple users, I simply feel everyone should get and use the computer and peripherals they can afford and like to use. To each their own.

I don't carry a handbag big enough to hold your phone! :)
I actually like the smaller iPhone 4 because it fit in my front pocket much easier than the iPhone 5 does. I won't carry my phone or money in a handbag anyway.

My tech used to rag on me mercilessly for switching everything to Apple until I gave him my old iPhone 4. His bitching is cut in half now :)

How's your reception with T-mobile? The service sucks here for that company and as well for AT&T. I get the best service from Verizon here. Tried them all and there's just too many 'dead spots' with the others here.
There is a huge difference between Microsoft Vs Apple and Android Vs Apple. You know, things like closed source operating systems and bloatware. Microsoft sure did screw the pooch with Steve Ballmer at the head quite a few times and in quite a few major ways. Thank goodness he is resigning.

No one in their right mind expects much "productivity" from a smartphone which is why you were upset that Android doesn't offer it. A good smartphone is used to quickly look up information on the go. It takes quite a bit longer to boot up a laptop for that purpose and near impossible on a 4" Crapple screen. As far as worrying so much about crime that you will not carry your money or phone in your purse, here is a novel idea. Relocate to a lower crime area. That's what I and countless dozens of millions of other Americans did.

T-mobile works great in most US cities including their suburbs and along most interstate highways. My husband has no problem on I-84 the whole length from Portland to Salt Lake City yet you have problems in Tom's River, NJ. Then again, T-Mobile does save its customers a bundle by not wasting so much on equipment outlay for places no one cares to visit or drive through like the boondocks you live in. Tom's River is drive-through country for New Yorkers going to Atlantic City and back. Maybe if your house was adjacent to the Garden State Parkway, you would probably get better reception.
