    rootbeer that's actually the wrong place to use "and I" you were trying to be proper but you ended up sounding awkward

    what you do is remove the other person from the sentence and see if it still sounds right, for instance:

    "Stay away from lisa and I" "Stay away from I" INCORRECT

    "Stay away from lisa and me" "Stay away from me" CORRECT

    "lisa and I are going to the pharmacy to get some Valtrex" "I am going to the pharmacy to get some Valtrex" CORRECT
