"Never take gifts"... someone refuses gifts is a disgrace. In case if a friend gives you something, you should not reject. Otherwise if an enemy gives you something, you should definitely reject.

no i like to tell them, if i require help i'll ask you, is there something you need? normally a gift means the player needs something more expensive to produce or a tech they do not have yet.
