barry whty are you wasting your time troubleshooting this when you should be shopping for a new cpu (amd if you want to save money, intel if you want it to benchmark well), a new motherboard, and some 3000Mhz ram

If I was building a gaming rig tomorrow I'd probably go with 2800 it costs half as much as 3000

8GB for $200 is perfectly reasonable and almost twice as fast as what you're running now
