    this is detroit, so i dont even necessarily know if the 'crash' happened in the 2000s (with some of these houses, it looks like you could literally call it a housing 'crash')

    i'd say that was the 1990s
    it does seem like we are kind of getting back to that mentality though, slowly but surely after everything went apeshit throughout the 2000s (it seems like places are still getting aftershocks from that housing market crash)
