well i think the whole point of the NNSD author though is that there's one correct interpretation and the rest of them are derived from what non-alphas believe being alpha is.

his example of feline behavior should also apply to humans, if you are working under the standard scientific view of the animal kingdom (i.e. not a religious worldview which sets humankind apart). so it's really just a list of behaviors already observed in male felines, chimpanzees, etc. and to that extent i think it is actually useful.
