However, one would suspect the potential of the information and volume of the information would be greater.

No I'm trying to learn more about it since people are going to be dicking around with these things anyways. I don't want to work with the technology, so I couldn't misuse it, but I do want to know if certain things exist.

I've heard a lot of mental patients crap on that in ancient times they would have been a shaman, fact is shamans and medicine men or wizards were more equivalent to doctors than some fruitcake with schizophrenia, and they spent a life-time training, they didn't just take some drugs and become uselessly delusional, they were respected members of their community.
