I put a 1tb solid state drive in my macbook pro, and now threadlong which used to take like a second to run (because it loops through and writes to a temp file) is now instantaneous, just in time for plug drugs to make a bunch of shitty threads about stupid crap

can you link to the specific hd you bought. for some reason when i got my mbp i thought that it would be a good idea to get 16gb of RAM and the best processor, but 128GBs of storage.

Can't promise it'll fit in your machine I think the newer ones use m.3 or have it soldered to the board
