i know all about the civil war. i'm interested to know why you think the battle flag of virginia is racist and why a picture of a general is racist. it seems when you're not armed with empty memes from which to get your ideas you don't have much to say.

Because it's a symbol of southern white people who wonted to inslave black people to do work form them in the cotton feilds and in there homes cooking and cleaning,with out paying them. If they tryed to secape from them they were hunted down and brote back or worse killed on the spot. (sorry for my poor spelling of some words)

if you erase the bad parts of history, in this case for black people, you deny them some part of their heritage. and doing that in the name of political correctness IS racist.

Keep the history but put the flag in a museum with the proper context in history but not flying out in public,which (i don't know if all) black people find it offensive.
