    The destruction of the first amendment is the destruction of this nation. we can survive a flag burning, we've done it before, it doesn't do anything but hurt the feelings of people with dumb priorities.

    But you're right, I'm sure the founders wrote the bill of rights thinking "I hope these ideals get thrown away in 250 years when mindless rabid nationalists start to find them inconvenient"
