invest in a ups that has a wattage readout it's about $100 to $200 to protect your $6500 computer

i only buy APC although maybe other brands are alright, and you want somewhere over 500W of output, so here are some example models

there's a calendar on some whiteboard where he's numbered every day of the year and marked when he's going to publish each megathread, then he's got certain days labelled below with a circle around them for some sort of completion status or something
the circle is slowly erased as the task for that day is finished
