and i didn't know that. I was taking 45-50mg a day every day for several months

i stopped taking dxm after that, for the last 1-2 months i used & didn't give a fuck about trying to limit my tolerance anymore

the only thing thats going to stop tolerance completely is breaks between use
thats true with any drug. For a while i was convinced that taking magnesium supplements was essential to preventing amphetamine tolerance, but tolerance isn't so easily bypassed.
"DXM lowering tolerance" is still just speculation at this point in time in medical science

did you also know that DXM is a serotonin reuptake inhibitor? combine that with the serotonergic activity of opiates and whatever other drugs you were taking, and a psychotic break is imminent.

One time I accidentally drank a tea with St John's Wort in it after taking amphetamine, and went into a psychosis for a week. Thought that my exgirlfriend had teamed up with the lead singer of Tool to try and eat my soul, and that AT&T and Google had teamed up to try and fry my brain with radiation coming from my cell phone

dxm supposedly can "fix" tolerance at the current level but yeah the efficacy is hotly debated
what i would do is only use an opiate every other day, and my tolerance would build slowly but it still built up until i took a 3-5 day break, which i did a couple times a month
after i started dxm i could consistently use every other day and it would take much longer for the tolerance to build

well i've had certain delusions for a long time... i'd prefer they were delusions anyway because thats much less frightening than it being real, but there's lasting evidence indicating that it's fucking real.
