I'm gonna keep using it and only use the new computer for gaming to minimize things going wrong, well, thats what I say now but I will probably like this new one so much I will use it 24/7, who am I kidding it wont even turn on when I get it, christ I hate computers

no but the different model of cpu might have more cache, more extensions, stuff that actually matters. Like I said before clock speed isn't a good indicator of performance anymore it hasn't been for years

that being said you're probably not going to notice the difference, my quad core AMD from 4 years ago runs skyrim on ultra for games it's all about the video card

RAM is dirt cheap, you'll probably never use more than 16 or so but no harm in maxing it out
