I turned on the TV and watched Walker Texas Ranger earlier today and it was more entertaining than anything I've seen in months, and for being what is considered "trashy 90s action-drama" it certainly beats the Hell out of ANYTHING put on TV these days.
I like how the show's writers were almost obligated to put in one round-house kick per episode

i don't know why they decided to start trying live action shows,
it might be because 15 minute long live-action episodes can be pumped out in the span of a single day instead of having to wait for 3 months to finish the animation process
it also might have been to appeal to a college-age demographic that thought of cartoons as childish
