I wish somebody could explain how they can put more than one hour into games like dota 2 where it's literally just straight up repeat, ther'es nothing to it besides you walk to one side killing stuff in a fashion so basic it coulda been on atari, it's in total 3 seconds of anything, yet they somehow get so many hours and days and months from it, I honestly don't get it I really don't and nobody ever wants to explain it they just get mad I think it's because they know they're playing something that probably has at most 20 1's and 0's for its entire code because ther'es literally nothing to it

in fact there's about a dozen moba games on mobile too and they're fully featured jus tlike the desktop ones, becasuse the desktop ones shoulda never came out on desktop dota 2 should be a mobile game and even then I"d be pissed about how basic it is and how the genre shouldn't exist


I mean you took the rts genre and made it ltierally as casual as possible, took otu the base buidling, troop commanding, literally everything about it, excdpet the move and attack orders, and you only do it with one unit and then people are like noooooooooo it's not just one line of code from an rts it's its completley own thing yo and so isn't pong and I'm like ugh
