Something tells me if you stick your average person who praises Windows 8 into DOS and tell them to append a line of text to a file like you asked me earlier, they're not going to even know where to begin.

i didnt think you'd use the word "append" for adding a line of text to a text file, so i figured you must mean adding the contents of one file to another file -- based on the definition of the word append
